On Thursday 10 September, Dr Ruth Bereson, Director of UB's Arts Management Program will speak about the program to prospective students.
The field of Arts Management is an increasingly growing area but many of us are unfamiliar with many aspects of it. The UB Arts Management program is an intensive field of graduate study. Students come from many fields of the arts and over an intensive two years learn many aspects of this subject which spans the fields of arts, humanities, management and law as they relate to the field both nationally and internationally.
The intention of UB's graduate Arts Management Program is to equip students to become effective arts managers. The curriculum is designed to increase the student's ability to identify and solve the complex, interdisciplinary problems and tensions that are inherent in the areas of arts management and cultural policy making.
